Drar til Oslo nå for å hente den nye Nissan Leaf på Økern. I teorien skal batteriet holder helt hjem (115km), men vurderer  om jeg må kjøre om Minnesund hvor det er en hurtigladestasjon. P.g.a kulde og kjøreforhold. Dette blir å gå inn i en helt ny verden og ny måte å tenke transport på, og dessuten ….helt stille! Veldig kult.

Going to Oslo now to get the new Nissan Leaf. In theory the battery should last all the way from Oslo to Madsstuen 115 km , but due to cold and snowy conditions I might have to go through Minnesund where there is a speed-charging station (not sure of the right word in english) This opens up a whole new way of thinking transport for us, and also….completely silent driving! Very cool.

FYSISK – HUMORISTISK – DYNAMISK

This long winter held its grip on the landscape at Madstun all the way until mid april. The change, when it finally came, was then even more dramatic: in a few weeks, all the snow melted,and now we are witnessing flowers, plants, and trees sprouing out of the ground like rockets. Birds chanting ecstatically, and deer, badgers, moose and other wildlife finally finding fresh food.

Sunday 13 feb: Batagraf performed with Torgeir Rebolledo Pedersen and Nils Petter Molvær in Ice installation by Peder Istad and the MINUS group at Lillestrøm , Norway. Minus 23 degrees celsius, one of the most extreme actions by this group so far. But, the spectacle was warmly recieved by a large audience , jumping and dancing to keep from freezing. A continuation of this collaboration is planned for Madstun in 2012

sat 12 feb: Rehearsals for the upcoming concert in Oslo, with the duo Jon Balke and Asle Karstad (picture). With solo piano as a sound source, the duo explores the architecture of accoustic space with use of a multitude of electronic tools. The concert is planned as a virtual walk through a series of rooms closets, cathedrals etc.
